Simple search
The majority of text searches are for a single word or a relatively few words, in which the searcher wants all of the words to appear in the result. That's exactly what the simple search option does.
Suppose you want all the paragraphs that contain "Peter apostle unity". Type the three words in the space provided, and click the "Search" button. That's all there is to it. The results will show right away on a new page.
If you have made no changes on the preferences page, you will see up to 10 hits, in relevance ranked order, with the three words never more than 25 words apart.
At the home page, simple search is the pre-set choice. On the top of most other pages, there is also a place for simple search entry. You can at any time select the advanced search option in order to have more options and more control over how a search is conducted for you.
Why another search engine? Here is why.
